Lift module (VB500)
Module providing Versabot with programmatic payload lifting capabilities. Payload pickup and release is controlled by process logic. The onboard lift is specially designed for pick-up and drop-off of payload between type-C roller conveyors (standard, gravity, motorised), or pallet holders. It can carry various types of pallets or containers, such as gitterboxes.
How does the VB500 Lift Module work?
The VB500 Lift Module enables the VERSABOT 500 mobile robot to autonomously:
- pick up loads from workstations, conveyor systems, or loading stations,
- lift them to the required height,
- transport them to their destination,
- accurately place the load and continue with subsequent logistics tasks.
The entire process is managed by the logistics system and automatically controlled by the robot software, ensuring high repeatability, operational safety, and precise load handling.

Thanks to signal exchange between the VERSABOT and loading devices, precise robot docking, synchronized lift and deposit operations, and full integration with existing production or warehouse infrastructure are possible. The VERSABOT equipped with the VB500 Lift Module can be used for fully automated pallet pick-up and return processes in cooperation with a standard Type C roller conveyor. The robot autonomously approaches the transfer station, precisely docks with the conveyor, and then lifts the pallet using the module before transporting it to the designated location within the facility.
After delivering the load, the VERSABOT can also return empty pallets to the roller conveyor, ensuring a continuous flow of logistics carriers throughout the production or warehouse process. Thanks to integration and signal exchange between the robot and the roller conveyor, pallet pick-up and drop-off operations are fully synchronized, repeatable, and safe, without the need for operator intervention.
Automated handling of high-load and high-stack pallets
The VERSABOT equipped with a lift module enables the automated handling of high-load pallets as well as tall or oversized load units. The robot autonomously approaches the loading station, precisely docks at the transfer point, and then picks up the pallet using the lift system before transporting it to the designated location within the production facility or warehouse.
The entire pick-up and delivery process is fully automated through signal exchange between the VERSABOT and the loading station. This synchronization enables accurate pallet positioning, safe lifting, and repeatable placement of loads, even in the case of tall or heavy transport units.
