A range of standardised accessories offering various recharging options. VERSABOT platforms are equipped with lithium-ion battery suitable for operation in short cycles, that allows for frequent rapid charging.

Automatic Power Station

The platform is charging the battery at the Automatic Power Station (APS). When docked in the APS, the platform stays there until the battery charge reaches a specified minimum level to ensure safe operation.

The Automatic Power Station may be installed as a standalone unit, to which the AGV is sent when idle (see “IDLE”), or integrated with a payload handling station. Batteries can also be quickly replaced and charged at a convenient location outside the workspace.

The remote charging station uses inductive coupling technology, enabling the VERSABOT to recharge without any physical connection to the charging interface. This eliminates the need for mechanical contact, reduces maintenance requirements, and improves operational safety by minimizing the risk of short circuits or electric shock.

The charging unit can be installed as a standalone station, where the robot is directed during idle periods, or integrated directly into a material handling or transfer station, enabling seamless charging within existing intralogistics workflows.

A dedicated charging station designed for the VERSABOT 500 platform equipped with a lithium-ion battery. The robot automatically navigates to the APS charging station when the battery level drops below a predefined threshold or during scheduled pauses in transport operations. This ensures continuous availability and optimized energy management without disrupting workflow.

A charging station tailored for the VERSABOT 1500 platform equipped with a lithium-ion battery. Similarly, the robot autonomously returns to the APS charging station when the battery level reaches a defined minimum or during operational downtime. This supports uninterrupted logistics processes and efficient fleet energy management across demanding industrial environments.
